In John 14 our Lord Jesus said “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God ; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” (See https://www.bible.com/bible/111/JHN.14.NIV)
There is a discussion between Jesus and his disciples.
One of the disciples asks how to get there.
And our Lord Jesus at the end of the discussion said: "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."
Someone who reads this chapter will learn many things that comforts his disciples and us.
If you are still young and has been called by Jesus to follow him. Take the opportunity. I in my twilight years and one who has backslid so many times is now in an extremely dire situation. I cry for forgiveness from Jesus but the lost opportunities to follow him in the past can never be recovered. Regret is painful.
So if he calls you, follow him and do not hesitate.
